3. NY Giants fans won't miss Richie James

Look, Richie James deserves some credit for his time in New York. He stepped up big-time for the Giants, when many didn’t even think he’d make the team out of training camp. James caught 57 passes for 596 yards and four touchdowns in 2021. He also caught 11 passes in the playoffs.

I will just never be able to shake the Seattle game from my memory. The Giants came into the late October game with a 6-1 record and a chance to get to 7-1 right before the bye. James cost the Giants that ballgame. The veteran fumbled not one, but two Seattle punts. Both fumbles were recovered by Seattle.

The Giants should have cut him on the spot and made him walk home. Big Blue needed to upgrade from James at wide receiver and punt returner this offseason, and they did just that. It was fun while it lasted, but every Giant fan will happily get off the roller coaster that is Richie James. We'll be rooting for Richie to tear it up in Kansas City, but we won't miss him.
