2. NY Giants fans will definitley miss Nick Gates

Nick Gates will be sorely missed. The interior offensive lineman was the heart and soul of the Giants. If the Giants needed a message sent, Gates would send it. He loved to get down and dirty, and he would do whatever the coaches asked him.

If Danny Dimes got hit late or in a dirty fashion, he would be the first one to get in the face of the other team. He embodied New York.

After Gates broke his leg in brutal fashion during a Week 2 game at Washington in the 2021 season, he became a huge fan favorite during his comeback. Gates' leg required numerous surgieries and it was uncertain if he would ever play football again. Just over a year later, Gates returned to the field against Seattle, in what turned out to be a very emotional moment, and one of the highlights of the Giants 2022 campaign.

Gates will be missed a ton on the field. The veteran is a versatile interior offensive lineman who played tackle, guard, and center throughout his career with Big Blue.

By the end of the 2022 season, it seemed clear that Gates was the best center on the Giants roster. His departure leaves a huge void in the middle of the Giants offensive line. He will be missed dearly. Sadly, he is the enemy now, as he plays for Washington.
