2. ILB Deion Jones

A month ago, the Giants brought in Deion Jones for a free agent visit, but nothing seemed to ever come of it. The Giants did add an undrafted free agent in Troy Brown, but even with him, plus players like Micah McFadden and Darrian Beavers, along with Jarrad Davis, whom the Giants signed at the end of the 2022 season and re-signed in free agency, the Giants still can use help at middle linebacker.

Jones had a down season in 2022 with the Cleveland Browns. Before then, he was a constant 100-plus tackle machine with the Atlanta Falcons. Given Jones is coming off a down year, he should be fairly inexpensive to sign. Keep in mind the Giants ended up bringing back a veteran who they had talked to previously in A'Shawn Robinson, who will help with the defensive line.

If Jones isn't looking for anything crazy in a contract, it can't hurt the Giants to have another veteran come in and compete in the middle next to Bobby Okereke. Jones will surely be a player to keep an eye on moving forward.
