What is there to say other than the NY Giants might be cursed this season. The meltdown against the Jets was bad enough, but one of the main negatives from that game outside of the overtime defeat was seeing Darren Waller injured on the sidelines.

While sitting on the bench, Waller look dejected, as he was ruled out for the rest of the action due to a hamstring injury. Unfortunately, we may not see Waller back on the field until Week 11... or later.

Darren Waller says he might miss multiple weeks with his latest hamstring problem

While speaking to the media on Wednesday, Waller said that he's feeling a little less sore than he was on Sunday, but this isn't an injury that's only going to keep him out for a few days leading up to the Week 9 meeting with the Las Vegas Raiders, his former team. Instead, Waller revealed that he could potentially miss multiple weeks. This is just brutal:

Following this weekend's dance with the Raiders, the Giants will then travel to Dallas next week for a monster NFC East showdown with the Cowboys. No one has forgotten about Dak Prescott and Co. dominating the G-Men during Week 1, with America's Team leaving East Rutherford with a 40-0 victory.

Revenge is wanted - no, it's needed for Big Blue. However, with Waller expected to miss multiple weeks, we may not see him back in action until Week 11 on the road against the Commanders. In the first matchup with Washington this year, Waller was a boss, posting 98 receiving yards and a touchdown from Tyrod Taylor. However, injuries have been a major issue for him throughout his career and more of the same is present in 2023. You've got to feel for the guy.
