No, anyone but him. Throughout the season, the New York Giants have been dealing with an insane amount of injuries. Star quarterback Daniel Jones, who signed a $160 million extension during the offseason, went down with a torn ACL. That's been a nightmare in itself, but Jones isn't the only one banged up.

Star left tackle Andrew Thomas has missed most of the year with a hamstring injury, but now he's dealing with a sprained MCL. Just brutal. Don't forget about Darren Waller, but now we have to worry about Dexter Lawrence? Please, say it ain't so.

Giants DT Dexter Lawrence is dealing with a hamstring injury

On Wednesday, Giants head coach Brian Daboll announced that Sexy Dexy was out for practice due to a hamstring injury. Yeah, that's deflating news. Lawrence has been an absolute animal in the trenches for the Giants this season, looking like one of the best pass-rushers in the NFL. The team over at Pro Football Focus agrees with that:

That's some pretty incredible company for Lawrence, as PFF has him ranked only behind Myles Garrett, Micah Parsons and Nick Bosa. What makes Lawrence so great is that despite getting so much attention from offensive linemen, he's able to bull-rush them to put pressure on opposing quarterbacks - he simply can't be stopped at times.

Lawrence's play is also great news for Kayvon Thibodeaux, with Lawrence creating space for him. Thibodeaux has been a monster himself too this year, posting 10.5 sacks. These two are going to be fun to watch for a while, but right now fans are just hopeful that this is a minor injury for Lawrence and he'll be able to put the pads on Sunday against the Patriots.
