Daniel Jones underwent his knee surgery on Wednesday

In other injury news for the Giants, Danny Dimes had his knee surgery on Wednesday and the comeback trail has officially gotten started. Jones went down with his torn ACL against the Las Vegas Raiders. Whether you like this kid or not, you simply had to feel bad for him at the time. Per Jordan Raanan, the surgery was successful, which is great news for the former No. 6 overall pick.

Before tearing his ACL, Jones missed several games due to a neck injury. This campaign, he was only able to appear in six games, throwing for 909 yards, two touchdowns and six interceptions. Jones was a big-time disappointment this season, which has a lot of Big Blue fans hoping Schoen will use next spring's first-round pick on a new signal-caller.

It's up in the air if he'll do that or not, but Jones has said multiple times in recent weeks that he's just going to focus on what he can control and that's to get himself back to 100 percent and do what's needed to help this team out. It was a 2023 to forget for Jones, but he's hoping '24 will be much more positive. Having successful surgery was the first part in making that happen.
