Giants will be right in the playoff hunt with a win over Green Bay

Entering Monday's meeting, the Giants are 4-8 on the year. On the surface, yes, it's been a terrible season. However, the G-Men have won back-to-back games and they're starting to build some momentum. Would you believe us if we told you they'd be in the hunt for the postseason if they were to take down Green Bay?

Well, that's exactly what would happen. Should the Giants improve to 5-8, they'd just be one game back from the No. 7 seed in the NFC. Interestingly enough, they'd be a game behind the Packers, the same team they're hoping to take down with the rest of the country watching. Just two weeks ago, no one in New York was thinking about extending the campaign past Week 18.

However, if the Giants can post their third consecutive upset victory, then we're going to really have to start thinking about their chances to keep the season going well into January. With that said, a loss on Monday night would end those dreams and NY would be projected to take home the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Come Tuesday morning, we'll see where exactly the majority of the fanbase will shift their focus to.
