Multiple mock drafts have the NY Giants landing Caleb Williams in 2024

Speaking of intriguing quarterbacks, there's no question that USC star Caleb Williams is going to be a name for Giants fans to follow leading up to late April. In the past week alone, both CBS and Pro Football Focus have come out with new NFL Mock Drafts - in those mock drafts, they have Schoen trading up to take Williams No. 1 overall.

As things stand, the Giants are projected to have the No. 4 overall pick in next year's draft. Following the terrible 30-6 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 9, the Giants are 2-7 on the season. Jones of course went down with his season-ending ACL tear, which is only making things look even more bleak for NY the rest of the way.

Schoen was on hand for the USC-Washington game last weekend, getting a close-up look at Williams. Williams, Michael Penix Jr. and Drake Maye have been players that Big Blue supporters have been dreaming of Schoen taking to be the QB of the future for this team. Williams is 100 percent at the top of the list, though.
