David Bakhtiari praised Joe Schoen for the Leonard Williams trade
With the way Schoen treated Williams, he's being showered with praise across the league. The long list includes All-Pro offensive tackle David Bakhtiari, who didn't hesitate in taking to Twitter to let the Giants know he appreciated seeing Williams explain the situation. Again, Schoen was kind enough to speak with Williams first instead of just making a move without his consent:

If Bakhtiari enjoyed seeing this, you've got to imagine this is also going to make an impact on players once free agency rolls around. When someone has a great relationship with the GM and it's not a toxic environment, they're of course going to want to not only take a visit to meet with a team, but also potentially sign there too.
This week, countless people have said they appreciate what Schoen did for Williams. NFL standouts will 100 percent be thinking about this if the Giants reach out to them in the future. It's this kind of act that could make the difference for Big Blue in future offseasons in landing potential guys high on their list.
