This is not what anyone wants to see, unless they live in Pennsylvania that is. With free agency here, both Saquon Barkley and Xavier McKinney are looking for big-time paydays and it's feeling quite likely they're going to leave the NY Giants.

However, the fact that BOTH could be joining a massive rival is enough to make you sick. According to SNY's Connor Hughes, the Eagles are getting ready to be 'aggressive' in their pursuits of the Giants standouts. The buzz has grown in recent days that Barkley could sign with Philadelphia, but McKinney too? Come on.

The Eagles landing both Saquon Barkley and Xavier McKinney would be a nightmare

With Barkley in particular, it makes a ton of sense why the Eagles would want to bring him to town. He's fantastic not only running back the ball, but catching the pigskin out of the backfield and storming downfield for yards.

As for McKinney, yeah, why wouldn't they have interest in him? The main issue for a lot of people, however, is they want Joe Schoen to do whatever is possible to make sure this doesn't happen. McKinney is only 24 years old and he's coming off his best campaign with the team.

He's a homegrown talent. Letting him walk to save a little extra money would break countless hearts, especially if he'd end up trading his Big Blue jersey in for a green one. It feels like some fans have come to terms with Barkley playing his last down for the team, but the same can't be said for how they feel about McKinney.

Let's pray to the Football Gods that if the two stars don't re-sign with the Giants, they'll at least head outside of the division. Haven't we all suffered enough?

Giants started free agency by re-signing long snapper Casey Kreiter

In some more positive news, in case you missed it, the Giants started free agency by keeping veteran long snapper Casey Kreiter in East Rutherford on a one-year deal. Kreiter spent the first four years of his career with the Broncos, but he's now getting ready for his fifth season with the G-Men.

A former Pro Bowler, Kreiter has been quite durable for the Giants during his time at MetLife. Per ESPN's Jordan Raanan, Kreiter was expected to receive plenty of interest from other teams, but Schoen has prevented that from happening.
