It felt like just yesterday the NY Giants ended the season with an upset win over the Eagles in Week 18. Well, now training camp is right around the corner, as the G-Men are entering a huge 2024 campaign for head man Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen.
Not long ago, the Giants wrapped up OTAs and mandatory minicamp. Next up is training camp in East Rutherford. So, when will things take place? The NFL just announced camp dates for everyone, with Giants rookies reporting on July 16 and veterans showing up on July 23. The first day of camp practice will be on July 24.
The NY Giants will start training camp practices on July 24
While the Giants players are going to enjoy their time off, goodness, we can't wait for camp to arrive. Before you know it, the preseason will get here too and then the season-opener against the Minnesota Vikings will be something fans will be fired up for.
At training camp, Daniel Jones is going to (hopefully) be fully cleared and get in a ton of 11-on-11 work. He was limited at minicamp, but people enjoyed seeing him throw the ball downfield on more than one occasion. He's starting to build some chemistry with Malik Nabers too, which is massive.
Nabers was taken with the No. 6 overall pick and the expectations are high for the youngster. He's the WR1 this team has been hoping for. Up front, we should get some answers as to what the final offensive line will be looking like, with Daboll also hopeful that Evan Neal will be ready to rock.
On defense, there will be some intriguing battles in the secondary for everyone to enjoy. All in all, camp is going to be a ton of fun to follow and the Giants playmakers will hope to put on a show leading up to the preseason. Soon enough, the wait for training camp to get here will be over. We can't wait.
