Is this yet another hint that NY Giants tight end Darren Waller is planning to retire from the NFL? Hey, it could turn out to be the case, as Waller, surprisingly, just released a new music video. We're going to let you be the judge of how things went for him here (we didn't love it!).

While plenty of Giants fans aren't wasting time in going after Waller's autotune for this track, the timing could not be more eye-opening from him. It's a song/video about his divorce with Kelsey Plum, but it also comes with the Giants hard at work at OTAs. Waller has been away from the team all offseason and this latest move doesn't give anyone any confidence he's planning to get back on the field in 2024:

Giants TE Darren Waller has everyone talking with his music video drop

Throughout the offseason, Waller, a former Pro Bowler, has said that he's unsure if he's going to hang up his cleats or not. At the same time, Brian Daboll has also said that the Giants are not going to rush him into a decision and they'll let him take his time with things.

People were also wondering what would end up happening with Darius Slayton, but the veteran wideout returned to the team and he's been on his grind at OTAs recently. Slayton revealed he didn't land a new contract with the Giants, but he reworked his deal so that there's more money on the table via some incentives.

Big Blue supporters are thrilled to have Slayton back in the mix, as this offense needs to turn things around in 2024. Will Waller be part of trying to get things moving forward? No one knows at this point, but if he's more focused on making music videos than being with his teammates for the offseason program, then perhaps retiring will be what he ends up deciding on. Regardless of what call he makes, for the Giants' sake, let's hope he finalizes things soon.
