4. Sterling Shepard

Unfortunately, the writing is on the wall for fan favorite, and Giants own, Sterling Shepard. The 30 year old has also himself hinted at possible retirement after his time with Big Blue is up rather than suiting up elsewhere. The little used wide receiver only has seven receptions for 37 yards on the year, which no one expected.

To end his career would be bittersweet because the fans love him, but both sides know it's about time to move on. Shepard has meant so much to this organization in recent years, as he has stood with the G-Men during some very tough times. Over the years, Shepard has posted some big-time grabs as well for this organization.

With that said, he's barely been used in 2023 and he's coming off back-to-back serious injuries. With Shepard climbing in age as well, there's unfortunately no reason for him to return to this team next fall. Despite that, people won't forget everything he's done in East Rutherford.
