The season no question has started off tough for the NY Giants, but the team got a much needed 14-7 win over the Commanders this past Sunday and the mood in East Rutherford is positive at least for a few days. There’s nothing like seeing your favorite NFL team celebrate a win in the locker room postgame.
After the victory, the vibes were high in the Giants locker room. Head Coach Brian Daboll was no question fired up with the way his unit was able to overcome adversity and improve to 2-5 on the campaign. This was a W the team desperately needed.
In the locker room, Coach Dabes delivered a passionate speech to his team and Giants fans are surely going to love seeing the clip below. The hope is that the G-Men can take this momentum and keep the good times rolling this weekend against the Jets.
Brian Daboll's passionate speech should fire up NY Giants fans
Last year when Daboll led the Giants to the team's first playoff birth since 2016, we were accustomed to seeing lively postgame locker room videos and lively postgame interviews. This year, the opposite has been the case, with the Giants losing four games in a row before Sunday's showdown.
With the way the schedule looks for the Giants, there's a good chance they can not only beat the Jets in Week 8, but they could also come out on top in Las Vegas against the Raiders next weekend. It won't be easy, but Coach Dabes has the Big Blue faithful believing again.
Injuries have no doubt been a major issue for this team this season, with it up in the air if Daniel Jones will be able to play on Sunday or not. Even if he can't play, fans have plenty of faith in Tyrod Taylor to get the job done - he certainly did vs. Washington. For the first time in a while, the morale is quite high for Daboll and his men.
