Before he decided to hang up his cleats, Tom Brady, yes, the greatest of all time, was near perfect when on the field. However, two of the biggest blemishes on his historic career were recorded in early February against your favorite team, the NY Giants.

Brady was 0-for-2 against the G-Men and Eli Manning with the Lombardi Trophy on the line. Everyone knows this, including star pass-rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux. While speaking with FanSided, Thibodeaux revealed he has nothing but respect for TB12, but he sure wishes he would have been able to take him down in the backfield before he called it a career.

Kayvon Thibodeaux will always regret not being able to sack Tom Brady

"Man, I wanted to sack Tom Brady, but he got out before I was here. Just because he’s the GOAT, so getting one of those under my belt would have been dope, but you know, shoutout to him.

That's probably the most respectful way to tell someone that they really wish they could have pulverized you to the turf. Brady should be thanking his lucky stars that he can spend his Sundays playing golf and relaxing instead of having someone like Thibodeaux trying to rock him.

Thibodeaux, the 2022 No. 5 overall pick, is coming off a superb sophomore campaign with the G-Men. After posting four sacks during his rookie season, he nearly tripled things in 2023 with his 11.5 sacks. Now, he's already chomping at the bit for Week 1 next September to arrive.

With Wink Martindale resignging from his position as defensive coordinator, Shane Bowen is making his way to East Rutherford as DC. With Bowen looking to improve the pass-rush, Thibodeaux will be ready to answer the call and showcase his versatility for the new Giants defensive leader. That's bad news for QBs in the NFC East, but luckily for him, Brady doesn't have to worry about that at all.

Kayvon Thibodeaux participated in this Super Bowl Media Week interview on behalf of Campbell's Chunky Soups.
