Time to show us what you can do, No. 8. For a while, the expectation has been that Daniel Jones, who was a limited participant at mandatory minicamp, would be fully cleared by the time training camp arrives. With the NY Giants rookies in town first, the veterans are all set to join them on July 23. Then on July 24, the first day of practice will take place.

Go ahead and get ready for Danny Dimes to be at 100 percent from the start. While speaking on the Simms Complete podcast with Phil Simms and Matt Simms, Jones said he's pretty much back to normal and that everything went to plan with his recovery.

"At this point, I'm doing pretty much everything - running, cutting, everything I need to do."

Jones turned plenty of heads recently thanks to a new workout clip that was posted by QB Country. In the video below, you can see Jones moving around quite impressively, while also showcasing a bigger upper body. He's been on his grind this offseason, and everyone is hoping it can help lead him to a bounce-back year.

Jones tore his ACL in the Week 9 loss to the Raiders in 2023 - he suffered the injury after missing several weeks due to a neck injury against the Dolphins. When he was healthy and on the field, Jones tossed for only two touchdowns (in the Week 2 win over Arizona) and six interceptions.

He was getting bashed left and right for this poor play, which was understandable. This came after he put the pen to paper on a $160 million extension. You've surely read this before, but Jones is entering his last chance to prove to Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll that he's the right QB1 for the long haul.

Should the veteran QB struggle again this season, it will likely lead to Drew Lock taking over the offense. If that happens, Jones will 100 percent be released next offseason. Before we get to that point, however, Jones has the chance to keep his NY story going. A big season will need to be on the way, but the good news for him is things are already looking positive thanks to a recovered right knee.
