2. Not improving the offensive line

It seems like we've been saying this for almost a decade now - this Giants offensive line has been awful for quite some time. And this year has been no different. While former No. 4 overall pick Andrew Thomas has been playing at a Pro Bowl-type level, fellow former first-round pick from 2022 Evan Neal has had his troubles, especially in 2023. He's on IR and out for the rest of the year.

While rookie center John Michael Schmitz has been playing strong at times, he's also had some issues as well. Regardless, this Giants offensive line has been dealing with many issues and is something that should have been addressed. Letting Jon Feliciano walk? Yikes.

On the season, the Giants have given up 77 sacks, which is disgraceful. People are calling for offensive line coach Bobby Johnson to be fired and it's hard to argue with that. Each week, it doesn't matter who is at quarterback... the guy behind center is running for his life and getting taken down. This was another mistake from Schoen.
