NFC East power rankings: NY Giants reach new low after Week 2 loss
3. Washington Commanders
The Commanders have looked like a formidable team in their first two games of the season, but they're still nowhere near as good as the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys. Their quarterback, No. 2 overall pick Jayden Daniels, has looked good in his first two NFL games and he's surely showing his potential.
Despite Washington not getting into the endzone vs. Big Blue, Daniels still passed for 226 yards and completed nearly 80 percent of his passes. Plus, the Commanders' running game was on full display against Big Blue's defense as they rushed for 215 yards. Still, this team has plenty of problems, as penalties forced Washington to settle for field goals - multiple false starts in the red zone cost the Commanders chances to score touchdowns.
Also, their defense is still looking like one of the NFL's worst. After giving up 37 points to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1, their defense against New York saw them give up many chunk plays with rookie wideout Nabers torching Washington's defense. He hauled in 127 yards on 10 receptions. They unfortunately look like a much better team than the Giants, but they still have problems to fix if they want to be considered better than the Cowboys and the Eagles.
