NFC East power rankings: NY Giants reach new low after Week 2 loss

The G-Men are no question the worst team in the division.

2. Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys are such a hard team to understand. Despite seemingly dominating the Giants every year, they fall short of expectations. While they are definitely a contender to win the division again this season, their shocking loss in their home opener on Sunday makes them the No. 2 team in the division after Week 2.

The Cowboys were, to put it bluntly, embarrassed by the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, as they fell flat 44-19. Despite the Saints' offense being off to a historic start to their season, scoring 91 points in the first two games, this is the type of game you expected the Cowboys to win. Their defense was just overmatched, as they allowed 432 total yards and Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott threw two costly interceptions that the Saints were able to take advantage of.

This was a very concerning loss for the Cowboys, but I'm sure many Giants fans loved seeing this hated rival get crushed in "Jerry's World." Make no mistake, though, the Dallas Cowboys are still a much better team than the Giants after Week 2, but they wiped away all Super Bowl talk in only the second game of the year. It was a head-turning loss for them.
