Leading up to Tuesday's NY Giants joint practice with the Detroit Lions, countless Big Blue supporters had been fired up with the play of Daniel Jones this summer. He was sharp at training camp, impressing with his strong play throwing the ball all over the field.

In the span of less than two hours, the haters out there are trying to change the narrative surrounding Danny Dimes, calling him 'washed,' 'terrible' and more. Seriously, just because of one bad practice everyone is writing off Jones and the Giants? Come on.

The Daniel Jones haters are out in full force right now

Sure, Jones had a terrible day on Tuesday. His play was so poor, the fifth-year quarterback decided to stay out on the field after the majority of the players hit the showers so that he could try and clean some stuff up.

This is why we call it practice. Jones will clean this up. As for everyone ripping into him - we'll see what you have to say once the regular season rolls around. The posts below are only a small sample size of the Jones hate being sent:

As soon as Jones signed his massive four-year, $160 million deal with Big Blue, the hate starting coming in for him. A lot of his doubters couldn't believe the fact that general manager Joe Schoen put so much money on the table. We're just going to ignore the QB market then?

At the end of the day, Jones is coming off a strong campaign, helping the Giants get back to the postseason for the first time in 2016. His showing in the Wild Card Round win over the Vikings was a thing of beauty too.

However, it's a new season and Jones needs to live up to his contract. Schoen went out of his way to improve the offense for him, bringing in Darren Waller, Jalin Hyatt, Parris Campbell and more. Jones is focused on being at the top of his game, with Giants Nation fully having his back. One off day isn't going to make or break his summer. Let's pump the brakes on going after him like this.
