Little did we know that Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni was going to give NY Giants fans even more of a reason to dislike him. Sirianni isn't one to shy away from getting into it with fanbases. Remember when he took a shot at people in Kansas City after a win at Arrowhead?

Well, with the Giants and Eagles hating one another, Sirianni has obviously seen a high level of the rivalry. He admitted that some Big Blue supporters go after him when they see him in South Jersey. How does Sirianni respond? By bringing up the fact that Philly stole Saquon Barkley, signing him to a three-year deal in free agency. Come on, man!

The Barkley signing is still something a lot of people can't get over. While it was always a longshot, the hope this offseason was that Giants general manager Joe Schoen would find a way to bring Barkley back. That didn't happen, but no one expected him to join the enemy.

Howie Roseman and Co. made the decision pretty easy for him, giving Barkley a three-year, $37.75 million contract. This was a ton of money and an amount Schoen and the Giants were never going to come close to matching. Barkley took the money and ran. However, people in New Jersey and New York would have preferred him to play quite literally anywhere else.

Instead, Sirianni is all smiles knowing that No. 26 is going to add to his already loaded offense. Barkley has been turning heads this offseason, as he and Jalen Hurts are ready to put on a show once the regular season gets here. Whenever the Giants and Eagles face off, 'revenge' will be on Barkley's mind, and the same can be said for the NY defense too.

Sirianni is going to enjoy everything, as he's fired up to see what his new playmaker will be able to get done in Year 1 with the Birds. He'll have a smug smile on his face too after every score Barkley records, especially against the G-Men.
