NY Giants third-round pick: Florida State RB Troy Benson

The 2024 running back class is absolutely loaded, and the Giants could be fortunate enough to land a superb talent in the draft's middle rounds.

Troy Benson began his career at Oregon and then transferred to Florida State after his freshman season. Benson has rushed for 1,850 yards on 298 carries in his college career with 24 touchdowns. Benson has already rushed for 858 yards this season, and with two games to go, he should surpass his career-high of 990 in 2022.

Benson, just 21 years old, has minimal tread on his tires, which could serve both him and the team that drafts him very well as he enters the professional ranks. He could be a great fit for the Giants if they decide to bring him to town.

NY Giants fourth-round pick: Colorado State EDGE Mohamed Kamara

The Giants need more juice off the edge behind Kayvon Thibodeaux and Azeez Ojulari. Mohamed Kamara, the 2023 Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year, could be an elite mid-round find. This kid is the real deal.

In his five-season college career, Kamara, who played all five seasons at Colorado State, recorded 146 pressures, 85 hurries, 32 sacks (14 in 2023), and 29 hits. The 6-1, 250-pounder is Mel Kiper Jr.'s No. 6 ranked defensive end in the 2024 class.
