NY Giants 2024 schedule release date rumors, leaks, opponents and more
Are you ready for some football? The NY Giants are inching closer to the 2024 campaign and the excitement is only building with the schedule release coming soon. For the G-Men, they're hoping to bounce back from a rough 6-11 season.
There's a ton of pressure for Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen to turn things around in 2024. So, when and where will the Giants be in action this fall and winter? Prior to the schedule release, leaks are dropping from trusted outlets. We'll be updating this page with reports from beat reporters and insiders throughout the day. First off, pack your bags for Munich:
Week 1 vs. the Minnesota Vikings: The latest rumor is that the G-Men will host the Vikings to open the season at MetLife Stadium. This will be a first look at J.J. McCarthy, who the Giants were linked with throughout the offseason.
Week 2 at the Washington Commanders: Is a Week 2 showdown against Washington on the way at FedEx Field? That could be the case. The Giants went 2-0 against the Commanders last season.
Week 3 at the Cleveland Browns: Per Ari Meirov, Week 3 will be a showdown in Cleveland, with the Giants heading to take the Browns on the road.
Week 4 vs. the Dallas Cowboys for TNF: A Thursday Night Football showdown against Dallas? That's what will be on the way in 2024.
Week 5 at the Seattle Seahawks: According to Brian Nemhauser, the Seahawks will be hosting the Giants for a Week 5 matchup.
Week 6 vs. the Cincinnati Bengals for SNF: Another primetime game for Daboll and company? In Week 6, NBC will feature the Bengals and Giants for Sunday Night Football.
Week 7 vs. the Eagles: Per Art Stapleton, the Giants will be hosting the Eagles on Oct. 20 for a Week 7 matchup. This will be the first 'revenge' game for the G-Men vs. Saquon Barkley.
Week 8 at the Steelers for MNF: Another update that has arrived from Stapleton, who is reporting the Giants will head to Pittsburgh on Oct. 28 for a Monday Night Football showdown against the Steelers. This will be a Week 8 contest.
Week 9 vs. the Washington Commanders: This will be the second showdown of the year vs. Washington, this time at MetLife Stadium.
Week 10 at the Carolina Panthers in Germany: In case you missed it, Mundo NFL's Ruben Vargas broke the news that NY will be taking on Carolina in Munich, Germany. It has been announced by the NFL that the game will take place in Week 10 on Nov. 10. Kickoff is set for 9:30 a.m. ET.
Week 11: A BYE week has arrived for NY.
Week 12 vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Fresh off the bye, the Giants will be hosting Baker Mayfield and Tampa Bay in Week 12.
Week 13 at Dallas on Thanksgiving: Paul Schwartz has broken the news that the Giants will be heading to take on the Cowboys for a Turkey Day meeting.
Week 14 vs. the New Orleans Saints: After the holiday meeting with the Cowboys, the Giants will return home to take on the Saints.
Week 15 vs. the Baltimore Ravens: Remember the last time Baltimore traveled to MetLife? The Giants posted an upset win. Let's hope the same will be the case this fall.
Week 16 at the Atlanta Falcons: This will be the first game for Shane Bowen's defense against Kirk Cousins now that he's in Atlanta.
Week 17 vs. the Indianapolis Colts: A late-season showdown against the Colts? That's exactly what will be on the way in the coming months.
Week 18 vs. the Philadelphia Eagles: Once again, the season will be closed out against the Eagles, this time on the road in Philly.
