Outside Linebackers: Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Azeez Ojulari and Boogie Basham

Outside of quarterbacks, this was the easiest position group to predict. Outside of these top four, there really isn't much to the Giants' edge-rushers currently on the roster. The good thing, though, is that all of the guys, especially Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux, and Azeez Ojulari, have a chance to form an elite pass-rushing unit in 2024.

Boogie Basham isn't anything to write home about, but he is by far the fourth-best edge in the group and can do a bit of everything when healthy. Burns and Thibodeaux will likely be one of the best pass-rushing duos in the NFL, while Ojulari comes off the bench and provides valuable snaps as a pure pass-rusher.

Inside Linebackers: Bobby Okereke, Micah McFadden, Dyontae Johnson, Isaiah Simmons and Darius Muasau

The linebacker position for the Giants, much like the offensive line, is looking the best it has in a long time. These are two areas New York has really struggled to find talent in over the last 10 years. However, it finally seems like Schoen has put together some really solid units.

Bobby Okereke was a Pro Bowl snub last season and emerged as a Top 10 linebacker in the NFL, while Micah McFadden made some real strides as a player. While he was still inconsistent, the former fifth-round pick showed a lot compared to his rookie season. Isaiah Simmons is a tricky case, as he has been playing with the secondary in training camp, but we're going to throw him in with the linebackers for now.

Another surprise this offseason has been the rise of Dyontae Johnson, who could realistically push for McFadden's spot as the Giants' LB2 behind Okereke. Johnson has been phenomenal during training camp and could provide more of an all-around presence compared to McFadden, who really struggles in coverage.
