NY Giants Round 3 Pick: Ohio State C Luke Wypler

With the loss of both Jon Feliciano and Nick Gates, the Giants have a need on the offensive line, specifically at the center position. While Schoen has stated that he feels comfortable with the players already on the roster, the team could still look to add a potential starter. With the addition of Ohio State's Luke Wypler, the team would solidify the center position for the foreseeable future.

During his time at Ohio State, Wypler was dominant. After taking the starting job in 2021, he looked to be one of the best centers in the nation. In 2021, Wypler was on the field for a total of 516 pass-blocking snaps. According to PFF, he allowed just one quarterback hit, seven pressures, and zero sacks.

This past season, Wypler delivered another elite season. Over 449 offensive snaps, he allowed zero quarterback hits, seven hurries, and just one sack. If a player of Wypler's caliber is on the board in the third round, he could be the perfect addition at No. 89 overall. Not only would he fill a major need for the offense, but he would step in and contribute from day one.
