New York Giants Round 4 Pick: Colby Wooden DL Auburn

In recent years, the Giants have made an effort to put together a defensive front with elite upside. With Dexter Lawrence, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Azeez Ojulari, and Leonard Williams leading the charge, the unit is arguably one of the best in the NFL. But with injury concerns throughout the group and a need for depth at the position, the team could still add firepower to the unit. Auburn's Colby Wooden would be just that at No. 128 overall.

Over his four seasons at Auburn, Wooden developed into a reliable playmaker on the defensive front. He also gained experience throughout the unit, spending time in several different positions. In total, Wooden took the field in 40 games while at Auburn. During this time, he totaled 153 total tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, and three forced fumbles.

This past season, Wooden was once again a versatile piece on the defense. Over 651 snaps, he spent time at nose tackle, defensive tackle, and defensive end according to PFF. Even while moving around the defense, he recorded 45 total tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and six sacks.

With the versatility that Wooden brings, he could be a target for this defense. Not only could he make an impact for the group, but he could also bring depth to the entire unit.
