Nothing beats NFC East rivalries. Whenever the NY Giants take on the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys or Washington Commanders, get ready for there to be plenty of drama and intrigue. Well, Giants defensive back Bobby McCain just made both '23 matchups even more interesting.

Earlier this week, McCain was asked about his former team and he didn't mince words when talking about how excited he is to face them. Yes, McCain has all the respect in the world for his old teammates, but that doesn't mean he's not ready to hand them some tough losses this fall:

"“I believe they might change the name now, I don’t know – I don’t care. I appreciate my time there, I appreciate the guys there, I’ve still got love for them. But we’re definitely going to whoop their a**.”"

That's some bulletin-board material for the Commanders players, as they'll surely circle their calendars for both meetings with the Giants this year. Those will come on Oct. 22 and Nov. 19 and people can't wait for these showdowns.

Before Week 1 of the regular season arrives, McCain is going to bust his hump to try and make an impact on both Brian Daboll and Wink Martindale. McCain is in the middle of a summer battle to try and win the starting job next to Xavier McKinney.

While it's up in the air if McCain will be able to beat out safeties Jason Pinnock or Dane Belton, he'll be ready to make plenty of head-turning plays regardless. That will begin on Sept. 10 in the regular season-opener, but you better believe he'll also have extra motivation later on in the year when Big Blue takes on Washington.
