With the way social media works, we're surprised it took this long to find out what Joe Schoen and the NY Giants were up to shortly after the Combine. At the University of Washington Pro Day, all eyes were on Michael Penix Jr., who put on a show with scouts, coaches and general manager watching.

Although he didn't workout, stud wide receiver Rome Odunze was also on hand to speak with reporters. According to ESPN's Brady Henderson, Odunze met with the G-Men shortly after the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, with Schoen flying him out to East Rutherford.

The two reconnected in Seattle for the UW Pro Day. Keep in mind that Odunze to NY at No. 6 overall is very much an option.

Odunze is considered one of the top receivers for the 2024 draft class along with Malik Nabers and Marvin Harrison Jr. Odunze was a monster for UW in 2023, posting 92 receptions for 1,640 yards and 13 touchdowns.

After how strong he looked at the Combine too, it's no wonder Schoen and Brian Daboll wasted no time in bringing him to New Jersey to discuss more about his potential for the offense. If the Giants don't trade up for a new signal-caller of the future, Odunze will surely be a name to watch at No. 6.

The exact same can be said for Nabers, who was electric at his LSU Pro Day. Nabers recently had a dinner meeting with the Giants too and he had nothing but great things to say about the front office and Coach Dabes. The interest there is mutual.

Once April 25 comes around, Schoen is going to have a tough decision to make, but the good news for him is that there are multiple playmakers that will still be on the board when it's his turn to send a pick in. Again, if the Giants don't trade up and stand pat at No. 6, going with either Odunze or Nabers will make a lot of people happy. He really can't go wrong with either one of these kids.
