The Darren Waller era has officially started for the NY Giants and people can't wait to see the star tight end take the field come Week 1. Waller was in the house for the first day of the offseason program, throwing around serious weight like it was nothing.

Waller is excited about his future with Big Blue, but it looks like some salty fans in Las Vegas aren't looking forward to him making plays for Daniel Jones and Co. A video of Waller entering the team building made its way to Twitter and Raiders supporters are trying to go after him for some reason. Give us a break.

Darren Waller is ready to have a big year with the NY Giants

Depressed? Come on. Waller looked like a stud player who was focused on making a splash with his hew teammates. In the replies to that tweet above, countless Raiders fans were saying that Waller doesn't look happy and that he likely wishes he was still in Las Vegas.

Yeah, that's not the case. The Raiders are coming off another year where they were a total disappointment. Looking ahead to next season, Derek Carr is out and Jimmy Garopplo is in as the team's new starting quarterback. This fall, Waller will be catching balls from Daniel Jones in an offense that also features Saquon Barkley.

Plenty of people have been going after Waller from the moment the trade to New York was announced. He's had his issues staying healthy, sure, but Waller is motivated to have a big season for the Giants. He'll hear his number called quite a bit in this offense.

When Waller is close to 100 percent health, there's no arguing that he's one of the best tight ends in the game. Big Blue supporters are ready to see him ball out in the near future. As for Raiders fans, they should focus their attention on something else.
