The NY Giants ended their season on Sunday in quite possibly the best fashion possible, finally defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 27-10. While some will be upset with the win because of its draft implications, we don't care about that. A win is a win, and a victory against the Eagles has been rare to come by in recent years.

Despite the great feeling that comes with going out on such a high note, we can't help but think about what this roster could look like next season. Obviously, it's too early to tell on certain things. However, we can say for sure that these four Giants played their last snaps with the team on Sunday:

4. DB Darnay Holmes

It's been an interesting four seasons since the Giants selected Darnay Holmes in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. While there were certainly some flashes of what could have been an excellent player, for the most part, Holmes hasn't accomplished much. This, combined with his expiring contract makes it all the more likely that the 25-year-old cornerback won't return in 2024.

Holmes has had plenty of opportunities over the years, but has yet to catch stride in a starting role. Over his career, Holmes has allowed 117 receptions on 163 targets (71.8 percent), 1,247 yards, one touchdown, and four interceptions in a span of 53 games of which he started 11.

The Giants were hoping that Holmes could become a solid slot corner for a defense that needed it, yet in every opportunity he was given, he let the team down. It's unfortunate, because there really were a few moments in which Holmes looked like he could have been a real contributor.

Perhaps Holmes can catch stride in a new environment. For now, though, it's pretty clear that the Giants don't need his services anymore. Joe Schoen has brought in plenty of young, better options in his two seasons who not only play better, but have more potential than Holmes as well.
