Come on, was there any doubt about this? The NY Giants pass-rush is going to be a force this season. Obviously people are excited about the potential of Kayvon Thibodeaux and Azeez Ojulari, but we have to give props to the guys in the middle as well.

The Giants defensive line features studs like Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams. Yeah, good luck to opposing offensive linemen trying to slow those guys down - along with the rest of the group. In their new interior DL rankings, Pro Football Focus ranked Lawrence and Williams as the best duo in the game. This was a no-brainer:

Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams are the best DL duo in the NFL

This really shouldn't be a shock, especially with Lawrence being among the best d-lineman in the game. Lawrence was a force last season, earning Second Team All-Pro honors. Not only that, but Lawrence put the pen to paper on a four-year, $90 million deal this offseason.

Lawrence received that deal after he posted 68 total tackles and 7.5 sacks. As for Williams, he had a bit of a down year in 2022, but that doesn't take away from the fact that he and Sexy Dexy are an unreal duo.

As for the d-line as a whole, general manager Joe Schoen made some big moves this offseason, signing both A'Shawn Robinson and Rakeem Nunez-Roches to help bolster the depth. The G-Men also used a seventh-round pick on DT Jordon Riley out of Oregon.

All of a sudden, the concern on the DT depth has turned into a strength for the Giants. This is something that has fans excited, especially with Lawrence and Williams getting ready to be a force this campaign for Wink Martindale. Those two in particular will be guys to watch this fall and winter.
