The free agency frenzy period in the NFL is all but over. With the NFL Draft almost here, general managers are focusing their attention on what to do with the next generation of players rather then ensure veterans on the market are signing contracts. The NY Giants have made their fair share of moves this offseason: signing Jamison Crowder, Parris Cambell, A'Shawn Robinson, Bobby Okereke and trading for Darren Waller.

However, even with the draft right around the corner, the Giants can continue to make a splash in the free agent market. Not only could these players help Big Blue win, but they could also keep some money in Joe Schoen's wallet. When looking at the list of avaible free agents, there are a few Schoen would be wise to target:

4. WR Jarvis Landry

Despite the Giants making plenty of moves at WR this offseason, more work could be done and bringing in someone like Jarvis Landry as a veteran leader could be wise. Turning 31 in November, Landry would be the elder statesman of a pretty young and inexpierenced wide receiver room for the 2023 campaign.

Not only would Landry be able to mentor some of the younger guys, but don't forget that he's a five-time Pro Bowler as well. Yes, he is past his prime, but he could still log significant snaps for the Giants and make like a bit easier for quarterback Daniel Jones. Last season for the Saints, Landry only appeared in nine games, but he averaged nearly 11 yards per reception, with 25 catches for 272 yards.

No, those numbers won't blow you away, and there are injury concerns to keep in mind as well, but Landry wouldn't break the bank either. He'd be a low-risk signing for the Giants - one who could create needed competition during camp for the WRs as a whole. It could be worth a shot here.
