Of all the takeaways from the NY Giants preseason win over the Panthers on Friday night, the electric touchdown grab from Jalin Hyatt was among the top ones. The rookie had dropped a pass not long before, but then he bounced back in the best way possible.

Hyatt is known for his speed. In the past, people have questioned his ability to run routes. After seeing this new angle from the long TD grab he posted from Tyrod Taylor, just what can his doubters say? Absolutely nothing:

NY Giants rookie Jalin Hyatt is going to be a fun player to watch this season

Everything about that clip is tremendous. Hyatt looked like he was going to break inside toward the middle of the field, which is what the Carolina defensive back was expecting too. Then in the blink of an eye, No. 84 took things outside and created too much separation for anyone to have a shot from making a play on him.

Taylor delivered a perfect ball for Hyatt to come down with too. This just goes to show the big-play ability that the rookie third-round pick has for this offense. There will obviously be some bumps in the road for him in Year 1, which was showcased with his drop vs. Carolina.

However, if Hyatt can catch the ball in the open field, then he's going to be a major problem for opposing defenses. With his fantastic wheels as well, it's only going to make life easier for Danny Dimes and Co.

Hyatt somehow fell to the third round and the Giants traded up to bring him to town. Hyatt is ready to prove a lot of his haters wrong and he silenced a lot of people with his score vs. the Panthers. He'll be motivated to do more of the same in the coming weeks.
