Multiple intriguing NY Giants targets set their pre-draft visits
Over the next few weeks, we're going to be seeing several first-round targets making their way to East Rutherford for important visits with the NY Giants. General manager Joe Schoen will have multiple options with the No. 25 overall pick, but offense appears to be the priority for him.
In recent days, several college standouts have finalized their visit plans to meet with Big Blue over in New Jersey. The list includes USC wide receiver Jordan Addison, Oklahoma wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. and TCU running back Kendre Miller. All three of these guys are studs, no doubt about that.
USC WR Jordan Addison will visit with the NY Giants this month
Of all three visitors, few can argue that Addison is the highest-profile player. Addison is considered one of the top wide receiver targets for Big Blue, but there's a good chance he won't be available for Schoen and Co. at No. 25 overall.
With the Ravens and Vikings picking ahead of the Giants, at No. 22 and No. 23 respectively, one of those teams figures to snatch up Addison before the G-Men are on the clock. You never know, though, Addison could end up still being there for the taking.
Elsewhere, Mims isn't a player that's expected to go in the first round, but he could be a target for the Giants either in Round 2 or Round 3. If the Giants decide to go with a cornerback or interior offensive lineman in the first round, then someone like Mims would make sense for Day 2.
Lastly, Miller is projected to be a third-round pick and he could be a player Schoen likes later this month. Right now, things are up in the air for Saquon Barkley's future with the team. He was placed on the non-exclusive franchise tag, but he's obviously not happy about that. Miller could end up being a future starter for NY down the road - but let's see how his visit goes first.
