There's going to be a lot of discussion about whether he belongs in or out, but NY Giants fans all over the place are adamant that the next stop is Canton. On Wednesday, Big Blue legend Eli Manning, who retired following the 2019 campaign, has officially been nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which isn't a shocker at all.

Manning is one of 167 players nominated for the 2025 HOF class and he's one of 16 former playmakers who is up for induction for the first time. Manning haters out there have argued that he's not a Hall of Famer, but we respectfully disagree when it comes to the two-time Super Bowl champion.

Manning's resume is downright impressive. On top of his two Super Bowl titles, sorry to bring that up again Patriots fans, the former first-round pick ranks in the Top 10 for passing yards, completions and touchdowns. He spent 16 years with the G-Men, arriving in East Rutherford in 2004.

From there, the 6-5, 220-pounder went on to throw for more than 57,000 yards and 366 touchdowns. Not bad at all, right? Things didn't end the right way for him with Big Blue, but that doesn't take away from his incredible career with the NFC East side. Manning still has an immeasurable amount of love for the franchise, something that he said this summer will never change.

"It has meant the world to me to come to the New York Giants. No one has enjoyed playing for the New York Giants more than me and I can say that in front of all these guys and I know they feel the same way - everybody that plays for the Giants feels like they're the luckiest person to be in that organization and franchise because they truly care about the players."

By mid-October, the long list of players up for induction will be reduced to 50. Things will then be cut down to 25, and then 15 finalists will be considered ahead of the Super Bowl. Soon enough, we'll find out if Manning will be Canton-bound, but goodness, he sure deserves it.
