NY Giants second-round pick: Arizona OT Jordan Morgan
The Giants have their next quarterback with Nix, so look for Schoen to get him some needed protection with a standout offensive tackle in the second round. Remember, the Giants will still have a second-rounder to work with despite sending one to the Cardinals as part of the package to move up to take Nix. In this spot, we like Arizona offensive tackle Jordan Morgan, a 6-5, 325-pounder.
#Arizona LT Jordan Morgan faced 3 UCLA edge rushers w/NFL futures (Grayson & Gabriel Murphy, Laiatu Latu), didn’t allow a sack and gave up minimal pressures.

His patient hands allowed him to be in position to counter and replace. His recovery speed is impressive as well. pic.twitter.com/GoEvyx6Cf7
Morgan did play at left tackle, which is where Andrew Thomas currently resides and just got a five-year extension from the Giants to be their franchise LT. So, Morgan would have to slide over and play right tackle, which is where Evan Neal has been.
However, given Neal’s poor performance in 2023 and him needing ankle surgery in the offseason, his plans for the Giants in 2024 and beyond can’t be counted on. It is unclear if he will remain at tackle, if he will be moved to guard, or if he will be a possible trade candidate, The Giants don’t have time to worry about someone recovering from an injury who wasn’t very good the last time he stepped on a field.
Arizona OT Jordan Morgan is a name that's already gotten a ton of love for the 2024 NFL Draft. For me, Morgan is a player who will benefit from a move inside to guard and can be a nice Day 2 add for an O-Line pic.twitter.com/lp5qYG2mNu

Drafting Morgan and putting him at right tackle is a clear message to Neal. Either get better, go to guard, or play somewhere else. Morgan is a great talent with a ton of upside. He'd be a great get for the Giants in the second round.
