With the offseason continuing to fly by, the NY Giants are getting even closer to the 2024 NFL Draft getting here. Mock drafts are running wild all over. Most have the G-Men drafting one of three positions; a wide receiver, an offensive lineman or a quarterback. The third one is where most Giants fans focus on.

Some think the Giants might actually roll into 2024 with Daniel Jones and a possible veteran backup, similar to what the Giants went with in 2023 when they had Jones and Tyrod Taylor, plus Tommy DeVito, who may or may not be in the mix for 2024 as well.

If the Giants do decide to take a quarterback, they will have every chance to do so in the first few rounds. Using a mock draft simulator, here is the next installment of a full Giants mock for the 2024 NFL Draft:

First round: LSU QB Jayden Daniels

When you see several mock drafts, they have Jayden Daniels going potentially in the first three picks. This makes sense considering he is the reigning Heisman Trophy winner. However, it’s not quite April yet and there’s a chance that some quarterbacks could drop.

Some think Drake Maye might fall in the first round. If Maye drops, there’s always a chance that Daniels could drop in the draft as well. If Daniels drops down to the No. 6 overall pick, the Giants can not pass on him.

Daniels threw for over 3,800 yards with 40 touchdowns to go along with over 1,000 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns on the ground. Daniels went from being a possible second-round pick early in the season to a bonafide first-round pick and a Top 5 pick with his tremendous 2023 season at LSU.

Whether Daniels starts Week 1 or if he sits behind Jones and waits until he is given his chance, Daniels being drafted by the Giants would signal that he is the future and someone worth building around for the future.
