3. NY Giants Week 3 vs. 49ers

On paper, a random Week 3 matchup against the 49ers shouldn't have too much effect on the outcome of the season for the Giants. However, looking at the beginning of the season for New York, this is undoubtedly a must-win matchup.

The Giants are set to face off against five playoff teams from last season in the first six games. If they can manage to take down a team like the Niners, who very well could have made the Super Bowl if Brock Purdy didn't get hurt, things could get a little crazy for the G-Men early on in the season.

Following the team's matchup against the Niners, the Giants face the Seahawks, Dolphins, and Bills in consecutive weeks. If they manage to take down San Francisco, there's no reason to say they can't beat any of the three teams previously listed.

This is not an easy game to win, however, the Giants are no strangers to pulling off a miraculous underdog win. Taking a big-time team down this early into the season would have a drastic effect on the Giants' momentum entering the biggest stretch of the fall.
