Giants News: Aaron Rodgers fires back at Jihad Ward, full uniform schedule revealed

A day after NY Giants Jihad Ward explained why he welcomed NY Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers to New York with more than a simple handshake, Rodgers offered his own version of the story.

Ward claimed that the Jets quarterback and teammate Randall Cobb were laughing on the sidelines in their preseason matchup against the Giants last week after Cobb delivered an illegal block to Giants cornerback Bobby McCain.

The block resulted in McCain getting a concussion and Ward didn't like people laughing at his teammate's expense, so he let Rodgers know about it out on the field.

Rodgers was informed of Ward's comments, and on Thursday, he had this to say about it.

"He thought we were laughing at his teammate? That never happened, and I think he's making s--- up. I don't care."

Luckily for Rodgers, he'll get to tell this to Ward's face this season when the Jets and Giants face off in Week 8. Good luck Aaron!

NY Giants reveal complete uniform schedule for the 2023 season

We already knew which games during the upcoming season the Giants were going to wear their legacy uniforms, but thanks to a social media post from New York on Thursday, we now know which uniform combos the team will be wearing for all 17 of their matchups in 2023.

According to the uniform schedule, the Giants will get to wear a home blue uniform in 10 of their 17 games this season (this includes their legacy uniform dates).

Week 3 appears to be a great uniform matchup with New York in their all-white away combo taking on the San Francisco 49ers in their traditional red and gold home uniform.

It has 2011 NFC Championship game vibes written all over it, and the only thing that's needed is for the 49ers to bring back Kyle Williams to mess up a pair of punt returns.
