4 things to watch at NY Giants OTAs starting on Monday
3. It's time for the G-Men rookies to ball out
The NFL Draft was less than a month ago and Big Blue supporters are still jacked up about the potential for all of the picks. It goes without saying, but the hype is real for the first three guys who the Giants and Schoen rocked with: Deonte Banks, John Michael Schmitz and Hyatt.
We already talked about Hyatt, as the former Tennessee standout will be able to do great things in this offense. As for Banks, this will be a great opportunity for us to see what he'll be able to do lined up opposite of fellow standout cornerback Adoree' Jackson. These two working together should be a ton of fun to watch.
Lastly, Schmitz is going to look to develop chemistry with Jones, but also with the rest of the offensive line. The former Minnesota hoss was brought in to be the starting center for the unit and there's of course going to be a lot of pressure on him early on in his career. We think this kid has loads of upside and he should send a statement early on at OTAs.
