The NY Giants had a small window of hope for the remainder of the 2023 season, but on Sunday in New Orleans, it went up in smoke.

Before the game in Week 15 against the New Orleans Saints, possible playoff scenarios were being talked about for the Giants. All they had to do was win against New Orleans and it increased their chances of a playoff spot because they’d have the better conference record over the teams ahead of them in the standings of the NFC.

However, that was all for nothing, as the Saints not only ended the Giants three-game winning streak with a 24-6 defeat, but the Saints may have all but ended the Giants very slim playoff aspirations and dreams. So instead of scoreboard watching and playoff chasing, it’s back to mock drafts and potential roster purging.

At 5-9 and with three games left on the 2023 docket, most have begun to look at the Giants roster and wonder who won’t be back for 2024, which includes coaches too. So who won’t be back next fall? Here's a look at seven Giants players/coaches who we think won't return:

7. WR Parris Campbell

When the Giants signed Parris Campbell as a free agent, many saw it as a golden opportunity for the Giants to capitalize on a low-risk, high-reward player who had potential to be really good in Brian Daboll’s offense.

To say that Campbell has been a disappointment would be an understatement, especially with just 20 catches for 104 yards and no touchdowns. Yup, Disappointing doesn’t even begin to cover it with Campbell’s tenure with the Giants in 2023.

But now we’re getting to the point where Campbell has become a healthy scratch for the Giants, like he was on Sunday in New Orleans. In fact, the last game that Campbell saw any action in was the game against the New England Patriots.

The experiment with Campbell was a disaster and now with him being listed on the inactive lists for games, it’s pretty safe to say that he won’t be back in 2024. This was a swing and a miss for Joe Schoen.
