4. WR Parris Campbell

Looking to elevate their offense which was ranked 18th in 2022, the Giants opted to sign former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell to a one-year contract as he looked to build off his career-high season in receiving yards the year prior. However, Campbell was quite simply non-existent and looked like a complete bust in his first and perhaps only season as a New York Giant.

Campbell only had 20 receptions all season for 104 yards and no touchdowns. His best game of the season was just six catches for 24 yards back in Week 3 against the San Francisco 49ers. Campbell also only had two catches or more in six of 10 games he played. Who in the world expected this from him?

The Campbell signing was an abject failure for the Giants. You can blame Daniel Jones for missing the majority of the season due to a season-ending ACL injury, a bad offensive line and poor play-calling, but Campbell was supposed to be a solid veteran option for the Giants on offense. Unfortunately, Campbell was a disappointment and a bust in 2023.
