2. S Xavier McKinney

Xavier McKinney needs to be brought back, there's really no debate. The knock on McKinney through four years with the Giants is his games played. He's had a rollercoaster of availability throughout his tenure, but when he plays, he plays quite well.

This past season, he had more than 100 tackles, 11 passes defensed and three interceptions. The guy knows how to play football. He can really make his mark as a true anchor of this defensive unit along with Dexter Lawrence. If they let McKinney walk, the front office will have much more work than they need on their plate in order to field a playoff roster.

Without McKinney, safety depth on this team gets thin quickly. Jason Pinnock had a solid 2023 and Dane Belton showed flashes of being good, but if there is no McKinney, Schoen will have to go get another safety. Why not have it be the guy who already knows the head coach, these players and the city?
