NY Giants third-round pick: Michigan DT Kris Jenkins

This isn’t the first time seeing Kris Jenkins' name land in a mock draft for the Giants and it won’t be the last, since he is a need for the defensive line. We’ve established how Jenkins has NFL royalty in his DNA, as his father played for the Panthers and Jets. His uncle was once a member of the Giants from 2013-2015

Thanks to the trade the Giants made with the Seattle Seahawks that saw Leonard Williams get dealt for the second-round pick used earlier in the trade for Maye, the Giants still have a need to replace Williams and his production on the line. This is where Jenkins comes in to help bolster up the line and give help to Dexter Lawrence.

As we’ve mentioned before, Jenkins can line up all over the line, which could be useful in new defensive coordinator Shane Bowen’s defense in 2024. He's got great speed for his size and could make an impact up front.
