How many primetime games do the NY Giants have in 2023?
Week 3: NY Giants at San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football
This will be a tough test for the Giants, as it's coming not too long after a road contest against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2. The 49ers are one of the best teams in the NFC, with them featuring plenty of studs on both sides of the ball. This will be a great chance for Daniel Jones and the G-Men to showcase where they're at.
San Francisco will be favored to post a win in this one, no one can deny that. However, remember that the Giants pulled off some stunning wins in '22. NY should be able to go blow-for-blow with the 49ers in primetime. While we think SF will be able to come out on top, we think the Giants will be able to keep this one close.
Week 4: NY Giants vs. Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football
Come Oct. 2, the Giants will host Seattle for MNF and this is going to be a great one. Three of the Giants first four games will be in primetime, which will be a great chance for Daboll and Co. to showcase how good they can be in '23. Seattle is a great team, and their offense only got better with the addition of Ohio State wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Luckily for the Giants, their aerial attack also took a big step forward, with Waller, Hyatt, Parris Campbell highlighting the additions for Jones. This could be a back-and-forth tilt between New York and Seattle. Last year, the Giants suffered a disappointing loss to the Hawks at Lumen Field. We'll see if the G-Men can take down Seattle this time around.
