If you have not heard, the NY Giants are gearing up for one of their biggest seasons in franchise history. The 2024 campaign will mark the 100th season for the New York Football Giants. NY is the fourth NFL team to reach 100 years, following the Cardinals, Bears and Packers.

Ahead of the NFL schedule release, the organization released its 100th-season logo and tribute video on social media to commemorate this special anniversary, which has Big Blue fans fired up. The Giants have been counting down for a special announcement, and this really has people excited:

The logo will be worn as a patch on Giants uniforms and appear throughout MetLife Stadium all season. The Giants will also release a merchandise line showcasing the logo for fans to purchase at the stadium during games and the team store online. In addition, the G-Men will hold several brand activations throughout the summer to highlight team history and showcase the 100th-season logo.

The Giants will pay homage to their old home at Yankees Stadium, where they played for 18 seasons, on Aug. 4, with the Toronto Blue Jays in town. The game will be designated as Giants 100th Season Day at Yankee Stadium, and the first 18,000 fans in attendance will receive an Eli Manning bobblehead of the former Big Blue quarterback in pinstripes. The two-time Super Bowl champion will also throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

The franchise will also host Giants 100: A Night with Legends at The Theater at MSG on June 20, featuring several former and current players and coaches in attendance. It has been confirmed legendary coaches Tom Coughlin and Bill Parcells will be there.

Breaking down the New York Giants' 100th-season logo

The Giants' 100th-season logo represents eight elements that perfectly tell the story of the franchise's history. The patch's border, a replica of the Polo Grounds, the Giants' first home, and the zeroes in the '100', mirroring the shape of Giants Stadium, now known as MetLife Stadium, are reminders of the Giants' journey.

The signature red stripe on every Giants helmet inspires the red banner across the patch. The red and white banner flanks represent the pattern of the Giants' legacy jerseys. The eight football laces below the red banner symbolize all of the Giants' NFL championships.

The logo below the laces honors the team's old skyline logo and represents a century of Giants players. The blue football itself honors "The Duke" Wellington Mara, who founded the Giants in 1925 and was the former owner and president of the team until he died in 2005.
