With the 2024 season for the NY Giants being celebrated as the 100th year for the franchise, there have been a lot of changes and updates being made all over the place. Quite frankly, they've been great to see.

Whether it be the 100th season logo that’s been plastered all over the place, the Century Red uniforms that the team will wear during Week 1, or the changes that fans will see once they are in the building itself, plenty of change has arrived. Just before the team’s preseason debut against the Detroit Lions at MetLife Stadium, the Giants revealed the new logo that will be at the 50-yard line for the upcoming 2024 campaign. Get a look at this:

The new Giants logo at MetLife Stadium has fans talking

For those who are wondering, as some asked themselves on social media, the difference from last season to this year is the logo at midfield is going from the Giants NY logo itself to the Giants helmet with the logo.

In the past, MetLife Stadium also had the generic NFL logo at the 50-yard line for games, which could be used for both the Giants and the New York Jets, who also use the stadium as well. However, for the fans who have season tickets for the team in blue, having the helmet at midfield with the end zones painted blue is definitely more appealing to the eye, whereas only having the logo itself looked very bland and boring.

Plus, the darker shade of blue definitely gives a spiced up and refreshing feeling to the stadium. Who knows, maybe a new design and look to the field can help wipe away the horrors of the 2023 season and bring some good luck and fortunes to the Giants during their 100th season in the league in 2024.
