For months know, the Giants faithful have been forced to read countless reports and rumors on Barkley and a potential contract.
Leading up to the 4 p.m. deadline on Monday, there was still hope that Barkley would put the pen to paper on a new deal and we'd be able to put everything in the past. A happy ending felt like it was going to be on the way for the Pro Bowl running back and the front office. Instead, more uncertainty has arrived.
