Week 4: NY Giants vs. Seattle Seahawks for Monday Night Football
This is going to be one of the biggest at-home tests for the Giants in ‘23. The Seattle Seahawks are one tough squad, and Pete Carroll always has them ready to play at a high level. Geno Smith is back as the team’s starting signal-caller. He’ll hope to put on a show at MetLife Stadium in a return to his old stomping grounds.
Seattle’s offense is looking good these days, with the wide receivers room adding Jaxon Smith-Njigba to go along with DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and more. It could end up being a long day for the NYG secondary. Big Blue will make this tough for Seattle, but we think the Hawks will be the ones who will be celebrating after the final whistle on Oct. 2.
Prediction: Seahawks 27, Giants 20
Week 5: NY Giants at the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 8
Of all the road showdowns for you to consider traveling to, this one might be at the top of the list. Miami in early October? That sounds like a dream for some folks. As for the action on the field, Miami is looking like an outstanding squad for 2023. The main question for them will be surrounding the health of star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
When Tua is healthy, he can be a total stud. He has weapons like Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill to throw the ball to. That's going to be a nightmare for the NY secondary. The fact that Miami's defense added Jalen Ramsey only makes them a bigger threat. With that said, the Giants posted some thrilling upsets last year. Could another one be on the way Oct. 8?
Prediction: Giants 31, Dolphins 24
