It's NFL rumor season, which is appropriate since free agency is around the corner. The NY Giants are being linked to countless playmakers, with Calvin Ridley all of a sudden being mentioned as a target. However, could a fellow former first-round pick be someone Joe Schoen could go after?

For what feels like the 50th consecutive offseason, there are rumblings out of Denver that Jerry Jeudy could be on his way out. Massive changes are on the way for Denver, especially after releasing Russell Wilson. Would fans be interested in Jeudy?

Trade rumors for Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy are back this offseason

There's no question that the Giants have to spice up the wide receivers room. Things just haven't gone according to plan for Jeudy, so there's thought that a change in scenery could end up working wonders for the 24-year-old wideout.

However, if the Broncos do want to make Jeudy available, things could come down to how much Denver would want in return. Would a mid-round pick get the job done? We'd like to think so, but who knows what Sean Payton and Co. are doing over there.

Obviously, there are other WR options out there for the Giants this offseason too. We mentioned Ridley above, but the NFL Draft is loaded with speedsters and Schoen surely is paying close attention to Rome Odunze and Malik Nabers. Both guys would be a solid pick at No. 6 overall.

The quarterback speculation won't go away, though, so we can't rule out Schoen moving up to land Caleb Williams, Drake Maye or Jayden Daniels, while buzz is growing NY might like Michigan's J.J. McCarthy at No. 6 overall.

Regardless of what's decided at quarterback, some WR help will be needed for whoever starts Week 1. Enter Jeudy? Our initial feeling is to pass, but if the price is right, we wouldn't blame Schoen for bringing him to town.
